SSYS Baseball Tournament Teams PDF Print E-mail

One of the long-standing strengths and traditions of Sandy Springs Youth Sports (“SSYS”) as a youth sports program is its rich heritage of selecting highly competitive Summer Tournament teams  to represent SSYS in district, state, regional and national tournaments throughout the summer.  It should be understood by parents, coaches, players and league administrators that being selected to an SSYS Tournament team is an honor, and should be regarded as a serious commitment on the part of the players, coaches and parents.  Each year SSYS selects Tournament teams ( for ages 7 through 12) to represent SSYS at various tournaments around Atlanta as well as to participate in the Dizzy Dean Tournament series.

The SSYS Baseball Tournament Team Committee, comprised of the SSYS President, the SSYS Vice-President of Baseball and the SSYS National League Director, is responsible for overseeing the selection of each of the SSYS Tournament teams, including managers, coaches and players.  The SSYS Tournament Team Committee is also responsible for ensuring that the integrity of the selection process is maintained and that all procedures are followed.

To find out more information about each age group, visit the All-Star home page for each age group.
