SSYS Baseball League Overview PDF Print E-mail

Congratulations to all of our players on a great season!   For A-National League Playoff brackets, please see the individual league pages.   Good luck to all of the teams in the playoffs!

SSYS has eight baseball leagues that cater to all children ages 5-14 and and skill levels. In addition, SSYS offers a Buddy Baseball League that gives special needs children from ages 5-18 the opportunity to experience the thrill of playing baseball.

  • Children register for the league base on their league age (age as of 4/30 of the season year).  There are no exceptions to this policy.
  • All registered players “make” a team, however, player evaluations are used to asses player ability and final league placement is based on child’s league age AND ability.

  • Travel League (13 - 14 Year-olds) – The SSYS Travel League, comprised of two competitive travel teams, is geared towards the more serious player who has aged out of our National and American Leagues.  Team selection is determined by tryouts held in the fall.
  • Buddy League – SSYS, in concert with other youth baseball leagues in the North Metro area, offers Buddy Baseball for special needs children, ages 5 to 18.
